INSURANCE COSTS AND FIREWORKS DISPLAYS

That this House believes that organised fireworks displays are the best and safest means of using fireworks, as opposed to use by individuals; is concerned that massive increases in insurance premiums are threatening the existence of such displays; and urges Her Majesty's Government to enter into immediate discussions with insurance companies to seek reductions in such premiums.
