SALE OF FIREWORKS

That this House congratulates the Yorkshire Evening Post on its campaign to tackle the growing problem of the abuse of fireworks amid rising public concern; and calls on the Department of Trade and Industry to introduce measures to license access to fireworks outside the period immediately prior to 5th November to address the all-year round noise and nuisance they cause in neighbourhoods.
