FREE MAPS FOR 11 YEAR OLDS

Early day motion 1759, tabled 16 October 2002 by Colin Burgon (Labour). Signed by 71 members.

That this House warmly welcomes the initiative launched by Ordnance Survey in which free maps are given to all Year 7 pupils in participating schools; recognises that the maps will be of value right across the subject range; and hopes that many of the young people will develop a love of, and interest in, maps for the rest of their lives.
