DYNEVOR SCHOOL

Early day motion 1708, tabled 24 July 2002 by Nigel Evans (Conservative). Signed by 3 members.

That this House notes with deep sadness the closure, after 119 years, of Dynevor School in Swansea; and pays tribute to generations of head teachers, teachers and other staff who have contributed so much to the good education of so many people in the Swansea area, including the new Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, Sir Harry Secombe, Spencer Davies and Maldwyn Pope.

Signatures by party: Conservative 2, Labour 1.
