leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes the arrest of a Southern Cyprus citizen, Mr Panicos Tsiakourmas, in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; notes that Northern Cyprus is a democratic state with an independent judiciary and that evidence has been brought before the courts that Mr Tsiakourmas was in possession of illegal drugs at the time of his arrest; notes that the defendant has been provided with legal representation and such medical care as he needs at public expense, and expresses its confidence that the evidence against him will be fairly and carefully examined; condemns any attempt to use political or diplomatic pressure to interfere with the course of justice; and gives the government and people of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus its full support in the fight against drugs.'.
