Early day motion 577, tabled 30 March 2000 by Nigel Evans (Conservative). Signed by 12 members.

That this House congratulates the Welsh Football Association on issuing tickets for the international game at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday 29th March at £5 and £3; notes the family atmosphere at the game with many parents and children attending the match; further notes that there were no arrests before or after the game; and calls on other football associations to follow the lead of the Welsh FA in providing affordable tickets at international matches which will promote a greater interest in our national sport, and lead to a greater family presence at football matches.
