SITING OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS MASTS

Early day motion 452, tabled 29 February 2000 by Harry Barnes (Labour). Signed by 70 members.

That this House believes that telecommunications masts should be placed away from homes, schools, workplaces and other areas where people settle or congregate; and further believes that mobile phone companies should share masts to avoid the nonsense of a rash of planning applications from different organisations in the same area.
