LANCASTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Early day motion 649, tabled 14 April 2000 by Hilton Dawson (Labour). Signed by 12 members.

That this House congratulates Lancaster City FC on winning the Unibond League Challenge Cup; wishes them well in future attempts to gain promotion to the Conference and beyond; and recognises that their biggest ever trophy triumph in one of non-league's most prestigious competitions shows that they have as bright a future as the city whose name they bear.

Signatures by party: Labour 11, Liberal Democrat 1.
