PARLIAMENTARY CAR PARKING

Early day motion 157, tabled 11 January 1999 by Norman Baker (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 20 members.

That this House believes that, in support of the thrust of the Government's White Paper on Transport, car parking charges for honourable Members and staff should be introduced throughout the parliamentary estate, that charges paid should not be reclaimable by honourable Members, that revenue raised should be used to provide public transport passes for honourable Members and staff and that the Government should implement these proposals without delay.

Signatures by party: Liberal Democrat 16, Labour 4.
