RAIL SERVICES TO SOUTHEND ON SEA

Early day motion 673, tabled 20 May 1999 by Teddy Taylor (Conservative). Signed by 1 member.

That this House offers its congratulations to the staff of the LTS company under the leadership of Mr Ken Bird for having achieved such a high grading on the efficiency and punctuality of the line from Fenchurch Street to Southend-on-Sea, which was formerly known as the Misery Line; and believes that the less successful rail companies would do well to examine the procedures and practices adopted in improving the Southend service.
