KINGSTONIAN FOOTBALL CLUB

Early day motion 662, tabled 18 May 1999 by Edward Davey (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 6 members.

That this House congratulates Kingstonian Football Club on their well-deserved victory over Forest Green in this year's FA Trophy Cup Final and commends both sides for the sporting manner in which they played the match, applauds the K's manager, Geoff Chappell for building such an accomplished team, and the club's players for their magnificent achievements this season and Kingstonian fans for their impeccable behaviour and loyal support for their local team; hopes that the Football Trust will have noted the club's progress and will give their financial support to Kingstonian's plan to develop their stadium; and wishes the K's the very best for next season.
