UNION RECOGNITION AT PRICECHECK

Early day motion 612, tabled 4 May 1999 by Jeremy Corbyn (Labour). Signed by 45 members.

That this House fully supports the campaign for union recognition by the T&GWU at Pricecheck; notes that over 50 per cent. of the company employees are union members and that despite this the company has refused to recognise this basic demand; and accordingly supports the union call for a boycott of the stores until basic workers' rights are recognised.
