LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Early day motion 484, tabled 24 March 1999 by Kelvin Hopkins (Labour). Signed by 3 members.

That this House celebrates the achievement of Leicester City Football Club in deservedly reaching the Worthington Cup Final while playing magnificently and in the spirit of the game; acknowledges the important role of Martin O'Neill and the loyalty of the blue army; appreciates the agony of losing to an injury-time goal; and hopes that next year will provide the opportunity for the club to win the competition.
