HER MAJESTY'S OPPOSITION AND NORWAY'S POSITION IN EUROPE

Early day motion 925, tabled 20 October 1999 by Martin Salter (Labour). Signed by 17 members.

That this House is deeply concerned at the apparent lack of detailed knowledge on the composition of the European Union as displayed by Her Majesty's Opposition at Prime Minister's questions on Wednesday 20th October; and reminds honourable Members that the 15 member states of the European Union are Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Greece, Austria, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Belgium and definitely not Norway.

Signatures by party: Labour 14, Labour/Co-operative 2, Plaid Cymru 1.
