DISPLAY OF FLAGS IN TAXI-CABS

Early day motion 903, tabled 19 October 1999 by Richard Body (Conservative). Signed by 13 members.

That this House sees nothing wrong in taxi-cabs in Edinburgh displaying the flag of St. Andrew or the taxi-cabs of Cardiff adorned with the flag of St. David; and therefore calls upon the Metropolitan Police to reverse its decision to refuse to license taxi-cabs in London that display the flag of St. George.

Signatures by party: Conservative 7, Liberal Democrat 4, Labour 1, Plaid Cymru 1.
