FUEL POVERTY IN SCOTLAND

Early day motion 883, tabled 26 July 1999 by Alan Simpson (Labour). Signed by 21 members.

That this House welcomes Labour's commitment, in the Manifesto for the Scottish Parliament, to eradicate fuel poverty in two terms of that Parliament; but expresses its dismay that this was omitted from the coalition agreement with the Liberal Democrats, because the latter party would not agree to such a commitment.

Signatures by party: Labour 18, Labour/Co-operative 3.
