ACCIDENT PREVENTION AMONGST CHILDREN

Early day motion 175, tabled 26 June 1997 by Fraser Kemp (Labour). Signed by 19 members.

That this House commends the contribution of the City of Sunderland Zone Rangers Challenge 1997 in raising awareness of accident prevention amongst children; supports the cooperation of local government agencies; business and the emergency services to give 'hands on' safety experience to 2400 primary school children; and believes that this is a positive example of cooperation between all sections of the community which provides a useful lesson in such matters to the rest of the United Kingdom.
