UNIVERSITY COLLEGE IN CORNWALL

Early day motion 328, tabled 30 July 1997 by Andrew George (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 16 members.

That this House wholeheartedly supports the initiative to re-establish a University College in Cornwall; welcomes the fact that the cap on student numbers will be lifted; and calls upon the Government to support the initiative both for its contribution to economic development as well as improved provision in a part of Britain which has hitherto had a demonstrable lack of higher education facilities.
