PUBLICATION OF THE NAO REPORT INTO THE AL YAMAMAH DEAL

That this House believes that ending the secrecy surrounding arms sales is a prerequisite to informed debate on the issue; welcomes the Government's commitment to full transparency and accountability to Parliament with regard to military export controls; notes that the 1992 report of the investigation into the Al Yamamah arms deal with Saudi Arabia is the only National Audit Office report, ever, not to have been published; and calls for its immediate publication.
