BBC WOMEN'S HOUR
Early day motion 635, tabled 12 January 1998 by Lindsay Hoyle (Labour). Signed by 78 members.
That this House notes with regret the decision of BBC Radio Four to move production of Women's Hour from Manchester and other regional broadcasting centres; and believes that the variety of coverage on this long-standing and successful programme will suffer as a consequence of concentrating production in one centre.
Signatures by party: Labour 76, Labour/Co-operative 2.
