leave out from 'House' to end and add 'welcomes the confirmation by the President of the Board of Trade that she will not countenance elderly miners being subject to an exertion test that causes physical exhaustion as part of the criteria for diagnosing chronic bronchitis and emphysema; but recognises that there is medical opinion that an exercise test can be beneficial to the claimant by assisting a more appropriate assessment of the degree of disability.'.
