BOVINE TB

Early day motion 105, tabled 23 November 2004 by James Paice (Conservative). Signed by 68 members.

That this House notes with concern that bovine tuberculosis is threatening a growing number of farmers every year; believes that further delay in action against bovine tuberculosis is unacceptable; further notes the failure of the Government to use existing powers within the Protection of Badgers Act 1992; and calls on the Government to take practical measures immediately to eliminate tuberculosis from both cattle and wildlife.
