Remaining Private Members' Bills — PENSIONS (WINDING-UP) BILL

House of Commons, 20 June 2003.

Sylvia Heal (Deputy Speaker, Halesowen and Rowley Regis)

Objection taken. Second Reading what day?

Frank Field (Labour, Birkenhead)

As the Government have objected and blocked the Bill going into Committee, I shall bring it back on 11 July, when I hope that they will have had second thoughts, following pressure from the electorate.

To be read a Second time on Friday 11 July.
